First, I booked the Ritz Carlton in Maui for 5 nights, so I have 4 nights left to plan. The north shore is lovely, like the north shore of Kauai. Families might want to consider staying at the newly-opened Courtyard Oahu North Shore or renting a house near one of the many North Shore beaches.
